## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns the issuance of euro coins. The amendments require the Commission to conduct an impact assessment with a cost-benefit analysis on the continued issuance of 1 and 2 euro cent coins taking into account their real production costs, address rules on euro circulation, commemorative and collector coins and consultation before destroying fit coins, and provide that designs must not offend the religious alignments of other Member States.
