## What the amendments focus on

This dossier establishes the European Year of Citizens (2013). The amendments develop the themes of Union citizenship and the right to move and reside freely, non-discrimination on grounds of nationality, workers' mobility and the labour market, awareness-raising about citizens' rights, and removing administrative and legal obstacles, with references to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the Europe 2020 strategy.
