## What the amendments focus on

A regulation on markets in financial instruments covering OTC derivatives, central counterparties (CCPs) and trade repositories. Amendments clarify and align the definitions of regulated markets, MTFs and the new organised trading facility (OTF), set conditions on CCP access to trading venues and trade feeds (including thresholds and competent-authority refusals), address market transparency and abuse, and regulate internal trade-matching systems.
