## What the amendments focus on

This dossier is a directive on noise-related operating restrictions at Union airports within a Balanced Approach. Amendments work on the Balanced Approach combining noise reduction at source, land-use planning, operational procedures and operating restrictions, set definitions including marginally compliant aircraft and impact area, provide for consultation, the right to take legal action and stakeholder transparency, and address noise assessments and abatement measures around airports.
