## What the amendments focus on

A regulation laying down common rules and procedures for implementing the Union's instruments for financing external action (2014-2020). The amendments address strategic programming documents and democratic control, performance indicators, the examination and advisory procedures, individual, special and support measures, budget support conditional on management of public spending, mainstreaming human rights, gender equality and the rights of persons with disabilities under the UNCRPD, and combining funds with European Investment Bank lending.
