## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns serious cross-border threats to health. The amendments address joint procurement of medical countermeasures and pandemic vaccines, an Early Warning and Response System with declarations of independence and interest, coordinated risk assessment mobilising scientific expertise, the role of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, communicable diseases, antimicrobial resistance, biological, chemical and environmental threats, hygiene measures, and the Health Security Committee.
