## What the amendments focus on

A legislative proposal on public procurement. The amendments shape rules on award criteria around the most economically advantageous tender, life-cycle costing and social, labour and environmental obligations; they address transparency, non-discrimination and equal treatment, reciprocity in access to procurement markets for third countries, exclusion of operators involved in corruption, fraud or money laundering, the subdivision of contracts into lots for SMEs, and technical specifications.
