## What the amendments focus on

This codecision dossier concerns public procurement in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors. The amendments base contract award on the most economically advantageous tender, including life-cycle costing, decent working conditions and respect for collective bargaining, exclude operators guilty of corruption, fraud or money laundering or breaching social, labour and environmental obligations, address abnormally low tenders, lots for SMEs, third-country products and monitoring against procurement fraud.
