## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns the situation of single mothers. Amendments revise recitals on the decline of the two-parent model and the diversity of single-parent families, social stereotyping and stigmatisation, differing legal statuses (divorced, separated, unmarried, widowed) and allocations, vulnerability and poverty risks, education and reproductive rights, and the responsibility of Member States to support these families and their children.
