## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns fisheries restrictions and jurisdictional waters in the Mediterranean and Black Sea and ways for conflict resolution. Amendments link maritime conflicts to overexploited fish stocks, call for conflict resolution under international law and UNCLOS, highlight regional fisheries management organisations and the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean, the Integrated Maritime Policy, sustainable fisheries cooperation agreements, the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, and protected maritime areas.
