## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the European dimension in sport. The amendments stress sport's economic value and contribution to growth and public health, call for action against match-fixing, corruption and threats to integrity, address betting operators and compensation for competition organisers, intellectual property rights, self-regulation and physical activity in education, with attention to grassroots and amateur sport and volunteering.
