## What the amendments focus on

The dossier addresses EU foreign policy towards the BRICS and other emerging powers. Amendments revise recitals on the economic and political rise of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, the emergence of a multi-polar system, the need for an inclusive global governance system, the G20, transnational challenges such as climate change and raw materials, the transition from low- to middle-income economies, and EU companies and trade agreements.
