## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative dossier concerns the EU cohesion policy strategy for the Atlantic area. The amendments call for integrating the Atlantic region into the trans-European transport networks and the Connecting Europe Facility, developing multimodal transport, short sea shipping and Motorways of the Sea, cross-border coordination between rail, seaports and airports, and developing maritime transport, shipbuilding, fishing, aquaculture, tourism, offshore wind and tidal energy, the outermost regions, and a macro-regional strategy.
