## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns the recast of the Union Customs Code. The amendments revise provisions on implementing and delegated powers conferred on the Commission, electronic data-processing techniques and derogations, the origin and traceability of goods, customs representation, simplifications in applying customs legislation, and the status, benefits, recognition, suspension and revocation of 'authorised economic operators', including procedural simplifications and EORI registration.
