## What the amendments focus on

This dossier aligns certain food-safety acts with the TFEU and the powers conferred on the Commission. Amendments concern delegating power to the Commission under Article 290 TFEU to amend non-essential, technical elements of the listed Directives (1999/4/EC, 2000/36/EC, 2001/111/EC, 2001/113/EC and 2001/114/EC) to take account of technical progress and international standards, and the duration, reporting and revocation of that delegation of power.
