## What the amendments focus on

This dossier sets out a framework for the recovery and resolution of credit institutions and investment firms. Amendments rework the requirement that each institution maintain a recovery plan to restore its financial situation after significant deterioration, the update frequency, the treatment of groups and protection schemes, the bar on assuming extraordinary public support, and financing the European Supervisory Authorities through fees.
