## What the amendments focus on

A regulation on modalities for reaching the 2020 target for reducing CO2 emissions from new light commercial vehicles. The amendments propose differing CO2 emission targets in grams per kilometre for 2020 and post-2020 dates, reference measurement under type-approval rules and the move from the NEDC to the WLTP test procedure, address fuel consumption and costs, technologies, super-credits and eco-innovations, smaller manufacturers, and amend Regulation (EU) No 510/2011.
