## What the amendments focus on

A legislative dossier aligning the Regulation on incidental catches of cetaceans in fisheries with the TFEU as regards Commission delegated and implementing powers. The amendments delegate powers for technical specifications and conditions of use of acoustic deterrent devices, note shortcomings and implementation failures and references to ICES scientific advice and the Habitats Directive, and require the Commission to review the measures' effectiveness and propose legislation to protect cetaceans.
