## What the amendments focus on

A non-legislative consent procedure on the EC/Kiribati Fisheries Partnership Agreement and its Protocol covering fishing opportunities and the financial contribution. The amendments propose that Parliament give consent to conclusion of the Protocol and call for the Commission to forward the minutes and conclusions of the Joint Committee under Article 10 of the Agreement and the multiannual sectoral programme, and to keep Parliament fully informed at all stages.
