## What the amendments focus on

Legislative proposal on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. Amendments revise recitals and definitions on web-accessibility for users including persons with disabilities and the elderly, interoperability with user agents and assistive technologies, technology and platform neutrality, vendor lock-in, monitoring and reporting, with some allowing websites to be hosted on servers within the Union on security grounds.
