## What the amendments focus on

Legislative proposal on marine equipment. Amendments address the application of international instruments and conventions adopted under the IMO and ratified by Member States, conformity assessment by notified bodies, the wheel mark and optional electronic tags, manufacturers', importers' and authorised representatives' obligations, the EU declaration of conformity, market surveillance and risks to maritime safety, the environment or health, and delegated and implementing powers conferred on the Commission.
