## What the amendments focus on

This dossier is a recast of the rules on insolvency proceedings. The amendments address extending the scope to proceedings rescuing a viable debtor and giving entrepreneurs a second chance, the centre of a debtor's main interests and court jurisdiction, the role of the liquidator or insolvency practitioner, secondary proceedings and protection of local creditors, interconnection of insolvency registers, and coordination of proceedings within groups of companies.
