# Implementation of the Single European Sky legislation

## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on implementing the Single European Sky (SES) legislation. The amendments stress involving the military community at an early stage, civil-military expertise within bodies such as the Single Sky Committee, EUROCONTROL and the SESAR Joint Undertaking, the role of the European Defence Agency, assessing the impact of SES legislation on military aviation, type-approval of military technologies, and benefits of harmonisation including fuel efficiency and reduced noise and pollution.
