## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on an EU strategy for the Horn of Africa. Amendments add recitals on insecurity, conflict, poverty, food insecurity and weak governance in the region, addressing Al-Shabaab, piracy, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea, refugees and displaced people, and reference UN Security Council resolutions and the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM).
