## What the amendments focus on

The dossier is a report on the Energy roadmap 2050, a future with energy. The amendments stress aligning EU energy policy with security, foreign, neighbourhood, trade and climate policies, reducing energy dependency through diversification of supply sources and renewables, the risk of carbon leakage and competitiveness, relations with producer and transit countries including the EU-Russia Energy Roadmap, and oil and gas drilling in the Mediterranean and Arctic.
