## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on moving towards a genuine Economic and Monetary Union. The amendments address the European Financial Stability Facility, European Stability Mechanism and 'banking union', call for consolidated public-accounts data and an overview of Member States' commitments annexed to the Union Budget, debate genuine own resources, and propose a single European supervisory mechanism within or near the ECB ensuring participation of Member States whose currency is not the euro.
