## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns trade and investment-driven growth for developing countries. The amendments invoke Policy Coherence for Development and the abolition of agricultural subsidies that harm food security, and address international investment agreements, investor-State dispute settlement, and balancing the rights and obligations of States and investors. They also raise corporate social responsibility, human rights and environmental standards in supply chains, the Kimberley Process, conflict minerals and the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative.
