## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on a comprehensive EU fishery strategy in the Pacific region. The amendments stress policy coherence for development under Article 208 TFEU, the Cotonou Agreement and ACP States, sustainable exploitation and combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, regional fisheries management organisations such as the WCPFC, the Parties to the Nauru Agreement and the vessel day scheme, overfishing of big-eye tuna, and Economic Partnership Agreements.
