## What the amendments focus on

The dossier sets out a strategy for fisheries in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Amendments call for cross-border cooperation among bordering EU and non-EU states, sustainable management of fish stocks and aquaculture, good environmental status under the marine strategy framework, maritime spatial planning and integrated maritime policy, an action plan on a macro-regional basis, common technical fishing measures, and Common Fisheries Policy objectives such as maximum sustainable yield.
