# Annual report on competition policy

## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on the annual report on competition policy. The amendments link competition policy to the EU 2020 employment and social targets, services of general (economic) interest under Article 14 TFEU and Protocol 26, the December 2011 State aid package on SGEI, corporate social responsibility and SMEs, derogations from State aid rules for restructuring, privatisation and the low-carbon transition, and the fragmented European market for electronic payments.
