## What the amendments focus on

This dossier is a report on the contribution of cooperatives to overcoming the crisis. The amendments extend the scope to social enterprises, cite figures on cooperative enterprises, members and jobs, stress their resilience and member-based democratic governance, their role in renewable energy, employment and industrial restructuring, and call for attention to cooperatives across EU policies, review of existing legislation and reassessment of the European Cooperative Society.
