## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns railway safety, a recast within the 4th Railway Package. The amendments address the responsibilities of infrastructure managers, railway undertakings and entities in charge of maintenance, safety certificates and authorisations, a single safety certificate, the role of the Agency and national safety authorities, common safety targets and indicators, ERTMS, a 'fair culture' for reporting, and accident investigation; one amendment rejects the proposal.
