## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns a directive on maximum authorised dimensions and weights for certain road vehicles. Amendments reject the Commission proposal in one strand, and otherwise revise recitals on reducing greenhouse gas and CO2 emissions from heavy-goods vehicles, aerodynamic devices on trucks and their testing and certification, road safety and visibility for vulnerable road users, longer and heavier vehicles in cross-border transport, empty runs and road cabotage.
