## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns a regulation on transmissible animal diseases. Amendments call for rejecting or withdrawing the Commission proposal, argue animal-health regulation should be left to Member States under subsidiarity, and revise recitals on disease control, the 'One health' principle, links between animal and public health, zoonotic and emerging infectious diseases, wildlife, pet animals and biodiversity.
