## What the amendments focus on

Consultation dossier on taxation and the mandatory automatic exchange of information amending Directive 2011/16/EU on administrative cooperation. Amendments address tax fraud, evasion and aggressive tax planning, extending exchanged categories to dividends, capital gains and other financial income, coordination with FATCA and OECD work, taxpayers' privacy and procedural rights, retroactive application to earlier tax periods, sanctions, and a Commission review.
