## What the amendments focus on

This proposal concerns electronic invoicing in public procurement. Amendments address requesting a European standard for the semantic data model of the core electronic invoice, requiring it to be technologically neutral, interoperable and aligned with personal data protection, and referencing standardisation bodies such as CEN, ISO and UN/CEFACT. Others address acceptance of compliant invoices by contracting authorities and entities, the needs of SMEs, and implementing and delegated acts for the Commission.
