## What the amendments focus on

The own-initiative report reviews implementation of the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC. The amendments stress full and uniform application of the directive to ensure a high level of consumer protection in the internal market against misleading and aggressive practices, including hidden internet advertising and misleading airline pricing; they discuss the blacklist in Annex I, a possible extension to business-to-business practices, maximum harmonisation, enforcement cooperation, and dissuasive penalties.
