## What the amendments focus on

A regulation establishing a touring visa. The amendments address third-country nationals, visa-requiring and visa-exempt, wishing to travel in the Schengen area beyond 90 days in a 180-day period, the competent Member State, application and extension procedures, deadlines, interviews, appeals, sickness insurance, and categories such as live performance artists, sportspersons, business people, researchers and tourists, with reference to fundamental rights and data protection.
