## What the amendments focus on

A legislative file on cableway installations. The amendments cover the scope of installations such as funiculars and aerial ropeways used in tourist resorts and urban transport, the precautionary principle, essential safety requirements and safety analysis, EU declaration of conformity and CE marking, obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors, notified bodies, the Union safeguard procedure, and effective, proportionate and dissuasive penalties.
