## What the amendments focus on

The dossier is the annual report on EU competition policy. The amendments stress competition rules and enforcement across the single market, address state aid (including tax state-aid investigations and aid to banks), cartels, social dumping and oligopolistic concentration, and frame competition policy as a cornerstone of a level playing field and the social market economy.
