# Urban dimension of EU policies

## What the amendments focus on

The dossier is an own-initiative report on the urban dimension of EU policies. The amendments address the role of towns and cities in attaining the Europe 2020 objectives and their involvement in policy-making, involvement of civil society and urban stakeholders, the operation of the European Fund for Strategic Investment with attention to urban regions, social housing, building renovation, mobility, accessibility, and combating poverty, social exclusion and unemployment.
