## What the amendments focus on

A co-decision procedure on EU macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. The amendments set the assistance as loans to address balance-of-payments needs alongside the IMF, condition it on respect for democratic mechanisms, the rule of law and human rights and on anti-corruption measures, and address coordination with the EEAS and the World Bank, protection of the Union's financial interests via OLAF, and disbursement to the National Bank of Ukraine.
