## What the amendments focus on

This legislative-initiative report concerns limitation periods for traffic accidents. Amendments address the wide divergence of national limitation rules, the difficulties this causes victims in cross-border road traffic accidents, common minimum rules and legal certainty, the Motor Insurance Directive and the parallel Hague and Rome regimes, information via the e-Justice Portal, protection of minors and persons with a disability, and the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
