## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative dossier addresses civil law rules on robotics. Amendments focus on the impact of robotisation and automation on jobs and social protection, call on the Commission to monitor jobs lost and created and to define smart autonomous robots, and consider liability rules and insurance. They stress education, training and human control over robots.
