## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns the control of arms exports and implementation of Common Position 2008/944/CFSP. The amendments address the eight export criteria, conflicts in the EU's neighbourhood including Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, weapons ending up with repressive regimes or non-state actors, the Wassenaar Arrangement and Arms Trade Treaty context, EU Member States as major arms exporters, the European defence industrial base, and cooperation with Russia.
