## What the amendments focus on

Annual report on EU competition policy. Amendments address anticompetitive practices, monopolies and cartels as barriers to trade, the opening-up of public procurement markets, compatibility of trade and competition policy with EU industrial policy, monitoring of trade agreements, cooperation with the OECD, UNCTAD and the International Competition Network, support for developing countries, SMEs' access to funds, and safeguards for public services.
