## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on space capabilities for European security and defence. The amendments revise recitals on the security environment, terrorism and external borders, cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the United Nations, EU strategic autonomy and dependence on satellite capabilities, and the use of space capabilities ranging from peacetime to crisis management.
