# Logistics in the EU and multimodal transport in the new TEN-T corridors

## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns logistics in the EU and multimodal transport in the new TEN-T corridors. Amendments stress decarbonisation and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from freight transport, especially road haulage, in line with the Paris Agreement / COP 21, promote shifts to rail, inland waterway and maritime transport, last-mile and electromobility solutions, and call for environmental, health and biodiversity assessments (including Natura 2000, EIA and SEA) for TEN-T projects.
