## What the amendments focus on

A resolution on the opening of free trade agreement negotiations with Australia and New Zealand. The amendments address the sensitivity of certain agricultural sectors such as beef, dairy, sugar and cereals, the importance of the Asia-Pacific region, conducting separate negotiations with each country, market access for European operators including SMEs, and the scope of comprehensive agreements covering investment, goods, services and public procurement.
