## What the amendments focus on

Legislation on European venture capital funds (EuVECA) and European social entrepreneurship funds (EuSEF). The amendments address lowering the EUR 100 000 minimum entry ticket for non-professional investors (to EUR 40 000 or EUR 50 000), expanding the range of eligible portfolio undertakings to small-midcaps and SMEs on growth markets, investor protection under Directive 2011/61/EU, registration procedures, an environmental sub-label, and the Capital Markets Union and Investment Plan for Europe.
